Most people think that the studio life is all fun and games, turning up, and late nights/early mornings of parting and madness. Its far from the truth, there is more to it than that. Silence is a HUGE factor in making some of the loudest and brightest music. You would be surprised how many people in studios SAY NOTHING for hours. Most people who come to the studio are LISTENING to what is being done. There is no time to do much talking, during that time, magic is being made. A 3 minute song most times takes about 6-8 hours to work on, and that isn't even finishing it. This is also crucial for making some of the best cinematic visuals you have ever seen.
